Robusta First
Robusta is the dominant variety in the Highlands and grows well around 500–900 m. Its caffeine level is typically higher than Arabica, giving stronger alertness, heavier body and a bolder bitterness.

Solterra grew from Gia Lai. We believe Vietnam's highland red soil, sun and mature harvest seasons can create green coffee with a bold, intense and memorable local character.
We did not come to coffee through a trading list first. We came to it through Gia Lai's land, seasons and local coffee life. The coffee here carries a direct, intense and energetic character, and that is the local flavor Solterra wants to introduce to international buyers.
Solterra aims to bring the real texture of local coffee to the world: no inflated origin story, no vague promise, just clear lot information, practical quality control, export packing and stable supply for roasters, importers and brand buyers.
Our role is supplier, not simply source introduction. We care about every inquiry, sample confirmation and contract delivery so buyers can work with clear information, steady communication and a reliable basis for long-term cooperation.

Source of bold and intense coffee character
Highlands coffee inherits loose, deep basalt red soil, a clear wet-dry monsoon rhythm and elevations suited to Robusta cultivation. Gia Lai sits in the northern Highlands at around 700–800 m above sea level, shaping a fuller, stronger and gently sweet coffee base.
Robusta is the dominant variety in the Highlands and grows well around 500–900 m. Its caffeine level is typically higher than Arabica, giving stronger alertness, heavier body and a bolder bitterness.
Typical Highlands Robusta shows deep bitterness, round and full body, a lingering finish, and notes that can suggest wood, dark chocolate, cacao and roasted nuts.
Gia Lai Robusta is known for uniform beans, firm density and lower defect rates. Green beans can carry a light natural aroma, while roasting may reveal warm wood, caramel and chocolate notes.
With organic, 4C and RA-oriented cultivation, plus honey, natural and controlled fermentation processing, Gia Lai coffee can express dried fruit, honeyed sweetness and a smoother bitterness.
